During a career that has spanned more than 30 years, the general manager of Kroff Facilities Services has served as a technical liaison between engineers and customers, calling on his biology, chemistry and environmental sciences background. He is able to speak knowledgeably and confidently with operations and plant managers about operations and equipment function, because he has managed key account relationships and understands the financial implications of the decisions plant general managers must make. Gross' experience - from his start in the water and wastewater business in 1975 managing a start-up environmental consulting group and analytical lab, to positions at Alcoa, USFilter and, most recently, Veolia Water of North America - has given him a deep understanding of the issues encountered in successfully operating industrial facilities.
