PITTSBURGH — April 19, 2010 — Kroff, Inc., a respected leader in wastewater treatment chemicals, has created Kroff Process Technologies to provide proprietary production process chemicals and technologies to the primary metals industry.

Kroff Process Technologies (KPT) will assist primary metals producers in producing and finishing their products with an array of custom chemicals and cutting-edge technology aimed at optimizing plant efficiencies and reducing costs.

The new business creates a unique, complementary service to Kroff’s other businesses, particularly Kroff Chemical Company (KCC). KCC provides custom industrial and commercial water treatment chemicals and services to treat boiler water, cooling water, contact cooling water, and wastewater that are critical to metal production. With KPT, Kroff now offers a comprehensive package of treatment and production chemicals that will cost effectively enhance production while also custom designing the chemical treatment scheme for the wastewater stream following production.
